DESCRIPTION

Liquid crystal emulsion derived from vegetal lipids
OLEAMULSION® WW is a 100% plant-derived concentrated liquid crystals emulsion specifically designed for wet wipes manufacturers. It allows formulators to create ultra-low viscosity emulsions by simply diluting it in cold water. The lamellar structure that characterizes  

OLEAMULSION® WW enables both lipo and hydrosoluble ingredients to be easily incorporated, leaving the formulator ample margin of creativity. By simply adding water, it forms emulsions with the body, the texture and the density of a cosmetic cream, even if strongly diluted. The rich oily phase - consisting of olive oil and natural esters - guarantees a correct emollient and nutrient action, together with a pleasantly fresh, light skin feel. Applications in which OLEAMULSION® WW finds use are not limited to wet wipes but also include suncare products and color cosmetics.

PROPERTIES

  • Soluble In cold water, ethanol, propylene glycol * *It allows the incorporation of oils, fragrances and liposoluble actives before dilution in water.
  • 100% plant-derived.
  • It appears as a soft, white paste which - once diluted - offers high speed of impregnation and high wetting capacity making it compliant with the needs of the industrial process. 

APPLICATIONS

  • Wet wipes applications (babycare, make-up remover pads)
  • Suncare emulsions with high SPF, UVA/B
  • Self-tanning emulsions

TEST

  • The same emulsion applied daily for four weeks increased skin elasticity by approximately 30%. It demonstrated it was capable of increasing moisturization of the skin both in the short and long-term
