GREENPLEX® is a 100% plant-derived complex designed to repair, protect, and enhance the structure and styling of hair. It works by reinforcing salt bonds, which play a crucial role in maintaining hair strength and elasticity but are easily weakened by chemical treatments, heat, and mechanical stress.
Thanks to its film-forming action, GREENPLEX® smooths the cuticle, reduces friction, and creates a protective barrier against humidity, pollutants, and external aggressors, improving both hair health and manageability. EFFICACY TESTS
Molecular Repair for Stronger Hair
Hair integrity relies on salt bonds, which contribute to one-third of its mechanical strength but are fragile. GREENPLEX® stabilizes these bonds, reinforcing the structural network and improving long-term hair resilience.
IMPROVED HAIR STRENGHT
Hair breakage occurs when the fiber’s structural integrity is compromised due to chemical treatments, heat, or mechanical stress.
A cyclic fatigue test (Dia-Stron) was conducted on Afro-textured hair, showing that GREENPLEX® reduces breakage by 55.6%, reinforcing the hair structure and preventing fiber fatigue over time.
IMPROVED HAIR ELASTICITY
Elasticity is the hair’s ability to stretch and return to its original shape, reflecting its protein and moisture protection.
The elastic modulus test (Dia-Stron) measures fiber stiffness: a decrease in this value indicates increased elasticity. In heat-damaged Caucasian hair, an 8% GREENPLEX® aqueous solution significantly improves elasticity by 10.3%, helping restore flexibility and resilience.
Protecting Hair Integrity and Reducing Chemical Damage
Chemical treatments, such as bleaching, coloring, and perming, can weaken hair structure by degrading the cuticle and increasing sodium accumulation, a key marker of damage.
GREENPLEX® helps restore hair integrity by reducing sodium accumulation, reinforcing cuticle cohesion, and improving overall fiber resilience. This leads to stronger, healthier-looking hair, even after chemical processing.
Enhanced Hair Penetration & Structural Repair
An EDX analysis using copper salts as markers showed that GREENPLEX® increases penetration inside Caucasian hair, improving traceability and binding capacity.
FE-SEM imaging confirmed that a 4% GREENPLEX® rinse-off treatment repairs bleaching-induced damage, restoring cuticle compactness and internal fiber integrity.

A Combability & Static Charge Test on chemically treated hair demonstrated that GREENPLEX® reduces combing force by 23% and static electricity by 60%, improving manageability and reducing flyaways.

A Curl Formation Test (BNV Bolero Multi Imaging) on curly and wavy hair showed that GREENPLEX® increases curl definition by 48.9%, outperforming PVP and traditional gels.
Humidity Resistance & Curl Retention
A Curl Retention Test demonstrated that GREENPLEX® maintains:
