ALTER-EMULGEL is a 100% natural emulsifying and gelling agent, developed to create gel-cream textures with a silicone-like feel. It is made from a combination of African birch (Anogeissus leiocarpa) extract and konjac root (Amorphophallus konjac), stabilized with citrate. It allows for the creation of light emulsions and non-greasy creams, making it ideal for formulations that require both emulsification and gelling properties, without the use of surfactants.

CHARACTERISTICS

Recommended Dosage: 1.3%

Usage: Hot emulsification recommended at 75°C-80°C.

Formulation tips: Supports oil phases up to 25%. Optimum emulsion stability in a pH range 3-6. The emulsion remains stable in media containing electrolytes, preservatives and ethanol (up to 10%).

APPLICATIONS
Suitable for a wide range of cosmetic applications, including gel creams, light emulsions, face creams, and foundations. Ideal for products targeted toward young skin or formulations aiming for a lighter, fresher texture
