DESCRIPTION

Synergistic blend of vegetal active compounds delivered in polyglycerol medium.
PG6 active HYDRA FACTOR® is a powerful 100% natural moisturizer and humectant aimed at providing faster and long-lasting moisturization (up to 6 days after the last application) in both haircare and skincare products.
It is made of a blend of natural highly hygroscopic compounds that recall water and synergistically work along with complimentary actives that keep moist in place providing a superior and long-lasting hydrating action

PROPERTIES

  • Liquid and easily water-soluble it is the most powerful moist booster to be added in dry and sensitive skin products.
  • With its moisturizing effect, it reduces flaking and quantity of corneocyte, making the skin smooth and soft.
  • It drastically reduces water loss (TEWL) and decreases erythema index in skins irritated with SDS.

APPLICATIONS

Super moisturizer designed to be incorporated in 100% natural OW and WO emulsions as well as transparent water-based applications.

TEST

  • In-vivo efficacy test shows significant skin hydration increase, reaching values of +12% after 7 days and +14% after 14 days of daily use.
  • The soothing efficacy of the product was confirmed by a statistically significant reduction in erythema of 17% after 8 hours of application of the product on a patch of skin irritation caused by SDS in skin occlusion for 4 hours
