POLYSOL® P3, part of POLYSOL® range, is an innovative natural non-ionic solubilizer obtained from the esterification of polyglycerol and vegetable fatty acids derived from renewable sources and produced with processes that protect the environment.

POLYSOL® P3 is notable for its increased content of lipophilic esters, which enhances its solubilization capabilities, particularly with fragrances that contain lipophilic solvents.
POLYSOL® P3 offers a natural alternative to conventional solubilizing agents, being gentle, pleasant to use, and non-sticky. It is capable of forming clear and stable solutions with a variety of poorly soluble substances, including fragrances, vitamins, active ingredients, emollient esters, and both mineral and vegetable oils.
Furthermore, it exhibits excellent skin tolerability and high biodegradability, aligning with the growing demand for environmentally friendly and sustainable cosmetic ingredients.

PROPERTIES

  • 100% plant-derived and RSPO.
  • No impact on the odor and color of final formulations.
  • Easy to use, it works well across a wide range of pH values and provides moisturizing properties.
  • It can enhance the fragrance persistence on the skin for a long period due to the absence or limited quantities of alcohol.
  • No negative effects on foaming properties when mixed with surfactants.

APPLICATIONS

Ideal for micellar waters, clear cleansers, gels, spray emulsions, wet wipes. It is advisable to not use strong acids or bases in order to guarantee the stability of the final product, as these could cause the solubilizing agent to saponify.

1.0 - 3.0% for solubilizing fragrances
